The CLEAR Project in conjunction with Iowa DNR and ISU Extension will be hosting a field day for anyone interested in the ongoing habitat restoration project at McIntosh Woods State Park. Dr. Adam Janke will share his knowledge of habitat restoration and the role that prescribed grazing of goats plays in sustainable park management. Refreshments will be served courtesy of the Clear Lake Earth Day Committee.

Soil Health Workshop

The CLEAR Project will be hosting a soil health workshop for area landowners and producers who want to learn how managing a farm for soil health will impact there production. Speakers include Doug Peterson - Soil Health Specialist with NRCS, and several local producers who will share their story of reduced tillage and cover crops. This event is sponsored by USDA-NRCS, Hancock SWCD, and Iowa Corn Growers.
